How to put on your girdle

How to put on your girdle (English)

Hello! We are happy to help you put on your girdle. Our goal is to be with you at every moment of your experience with Fajas Meli'Belt.

Before you start

Follow these recommendations before trying on your girdle, so that if the size isn't right you can request one (1) size exchange:

  • Wear underwear and keep your body free of lotions, deodorants, oils, powders, perfumes, makeup or beauty products that could transfer to the garment.
  • Avoid pulling the garment by thin areas such as the buttock area and the silicone lace.
  • Don't wear jewelry, and be careful with long nails or any sharp object when closing or adjusting the garment.
  • If you are in post-surgical or postpartum recovery, cover any treated area properly to avoid stains or discoloration of the garment.

Don't throw away or damage your packaging: it is a refrigerable bag, and we explain how to use it in our Girdle Care guide.

Now let's put your girdle on!

  1. Completely unfasten the hooks, zippers or internal hooks of your girdle.
  2. Fold the leg lace upward so the silicone lace doesn't touch your skin and stick while you pull it up.
  3. Pull it up to buttock height.
  4. Adjust the leg seams: move any seams that ended up in the middle of the leg toward the crotch, so they sit on the sides of your legs, just like the seams on a pair of pants or shorts. This step is very important so your girdle can close.
  5. Position your buttocks so they get excellent coverage and lift.
  6. Pull up the top part (if it's strapless, until it sits just below your bust; if it's a full girdle, until the straps fit well on your shoulders).
  7. Unfold the silicone lace on the legs.
  8. Before closing, pull one closing side and then the other to center the girdle toward your belly.
  9. To start closing, cross your legs and work from the bottom up.
  10. Don't let go after the first hook, since all the pressure will stay in that area and the garment could be damaged. Close at least 5 hooks before releasing and resting.
  11. Keep going until it's fully fastened; if your girdle has a zipper, close it now.
  12. Finish adjusting the garment. If it has a perineal opening, cover your intimate area completely with the fabric flap and place the other side of the girdle on top, so you feel completely comfortable.
  13. Done! Enjoy your Meli'Belt girdle with your outfit and feel the shape and comfort of our garments.

Cómo ponerte tu faja (Español)

¡Hola!
